Experience counts. Chip has been in practice for nearly 20 years and has handled thousands of personal injury cases. Having suffered injuries from a distracted driver, he knows the frustration and pain his clients are going through. Although most personal injury cases reach a settlement, Chip isn’t afraid to go to court. Chip has filed hundreds of lawsuits and has taken over 40 cases to trial. At the Dean Boyd Law Firm, experience counts.

Chip grew up right here in Amarillo and graduated from West Texas A&M in 1997 earning the top student award for Political Science. Chip earned a Presidential Scholarship to attend Texas Tech School of Law where he graduated in 2000. While in law school, Chip excelled in the Advocacy Programs. He was one of just 6 students to gain early admission into the Board of Barristers and he was selected to the Law School Negotiations Team for 2 years.

Upon graduation from law school, Chip ran his own successful law practice for 10 years before going to work for a large statewide personal injury firm. Seven years later, he came home to Amarillo and joined Dean Boyd to continue fighting the good fight. Chip has two children. His daughter, Tayler, is currently in Medical School and his son, Trey, attends Texas Tech and is planning to follow his father into the practice of law.
